2026 AI survey reveals the truth: 54% of pros use Shadow AI, 57% prioritize speed, and 89% demand a human for closing the deal.
Whilst everyone has an opinion on how AI should be used, we wanted to understand how it is being used. This is why we conducted a comprehensive study of over 250 professionals across the United States - to find out exactly how you are using (or not) AI. We went into the trenches with the people in sales, operations, marketing, and finance to bridge the gap between AI hype and actual workplace behavior.
The data reveals a workforce in transition. We found a significant shadow AI trend where employees are moving faster than their organizations' official policies, a clear hierarchy of trust regarding where bots should stop and humans should start, and a massive appetite for speed that is often at odds with accuracy.
